$105 - 1 hour

Your first acupuncture treatment will be longer than subsequent sessions. This allows time for a Chinese medical diagnosis.

Shona will ask a number of questions to get a complete picture of your health and lifestyle, including a full medical history, taking your pulse, and looking at your tongue. She will make an assessment and create your personal acupuncture treatment plan based on this information. This may also include suggestions to enhance the long-term effectiveness of acupuncture treatment, such as dietary and lifestyle advice, herbs and fermented foods.

For each new complaint it is important to have a course of intensive treatment to address any new and acute symptoms. This is far more effective than spacing treatments over a longer time.

Follow up visit fees are for subsequent treatments and regular maintenance visits.

Shona is an AHPRA registered Allied Health Practitioner and a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society. She is able to provide health insurance rebates. HICAPs reclaims are available at her clinic.

Please give at least 24 hours notice of any cancellations, the full consultation fee may be charged if you do not give adequate notice or do not turn up for your appointment.
